As little girls, we dream about that
perfect day when we marry our prince. When we grow up though, we start thinking
that the dream wedding we have always wanted can be quite expensive. However,
you should definitely not give up on your dream of having a perfect wedding,
even if you are running on a tighter budget! There are many ways to save money
and to have the wedding you have always wanted! Here are some great ideas:
· Don’t rule out the option of having a winter wedding. Not only are winter weddings extremely romantic, but they tend to be less expensive as well. In between January and April, a lot of the wedding venues and vendors will offer considerable discounts, which will allow you to save a lot of money.
· Take your time. Planning a wedding in a short amount of time is not only extremely stressful, but it can also be quite expensive too. Allowing yourself more time to plan the wedding means that you will stretch out the expenses on a longer period of time. Even more than that, it will allow you to “hunt” for special offers as well (and this will, again, save you a lot of money).
· Previously-owned wedding items. Everything from the gown to the décor can be purchased from consignation stores. Keep in mind that these things have only been worn or used once, but that they can be much, much less expensive than the brand new ones. Who knows? Maybe your perfect gown is waiting on one of these racks!
