1. The aisle. Forget about the red aisle runner and go for something really special, such as flowers or messages written by those you love.

2. The flowers. Pick flowers that really show the beauty of this occasion, but make sure you sprinkle them with some personality as well.

3. The bridesmaids. Your attendants don’t have to be traditional if you don’t want them to. For instance, their bouquets can easily be replaced by fancy clutch purses, by silk fans or by romantic candles as well.

4. The backdrop of your ceremony can also be personalized as well. Choose something that goes well with the rest of the wedding and with your own personality too.

5. The music. You don’t have to go for the good, old “Here comes the bride” if you don’t want to. Pick whatever song you find meaningful!
